Setting new standards for industrial process automation solutions in metropolitan New York City, Control Associates, Inc. is the premier provider of industrial process control systems, precision instrumentation, asset reliability, vibration analytics, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and data management solutions. We are looking to hire an Accounts Receivable Clerk, and this role will be based at our Allendale, NJ headquarters.
Responsibilities: Daily, timely and accurate data entry of customer invoices and credits.Respond to customer inquiries and requests for supporting documentation.Customer portal management; identify discrepancies and resolve.Distribute customer invoices and submit invoices online to customer portals for payment.Collect and process credit card payments and remit corresponding invoices.Apply and lift customer credit holds within ERP accounting system.Daily review of A/R AgingAssess bad debt and propose write-offs to A/R Collections.AR Aging Reporting including communication with Account Managers on the status of Customer A/R Aging.Balance sheet account reconciliations of related A/R accounts.Prepare commission invoicing and present to Credit Manager for review and approval.Daily cash clearing in ERP accounting systemBank ACHDeposit checksCredit card paymentsCollect and review required Sales Tax Exemption Form for customer accounts.Maintain and update Sales Tax Exemption Database.Normal Working Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.Required: Associate's degree or higher is required.2+ years Accounts Receivable experience required.Excellent attention to detail is required.Customer facing role, must have excellent written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.Must have intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, Advanced Excel experience (V, H, or XLOOKUP), preferred.Previous work experience with any accounting tools/software, within an ERP, is ideal.Must satisfactorily complete training on CAI operating systems including accounting software package.Please note that work visa sponsorship is not available for this role.This is a direct placement position; third party contracts are not available.Control Associates, Inc. offers competitive salaries that include a bonus potential.
