Job Summary:We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounts Receivable Clerk at Ed Staub & Sons Petroleum, Inc. in Klamath Falls, Oregon. This is a full-time, hourly position in the Accounting and Finance department. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate recording of payments, and maintaining strong customer relationships.Compensation & Benefits:The compensation for this position is $20 to $25 per hour, paid semi-monthly. This role also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement benefits, paid time off, and opportunities for career growth within our organization.Responsibilities:Manage all aspects of the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, recording payments, and reconciling accountsCommunicate with customers to resolve any billing or payment discrepancies, and provide exceptional customer servicePrepare and analyze monthly aging reports to identify any delinquent accounts and take necessary action to collect outstanding balancesMaintain accurate records of all accounts receivable transactions and follow established procedures for processing payments and ensuring proper documentationAssist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accountsSupport the Accounting and Finance department with other tasks and projects as neededRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance preferredMinimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related accounting roleStrong understanding of basic accounting principles and ability to accurately record and reconcile financial transactionsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooksExcellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations with customers regarding paymentsHighly organized and detail-oriented, ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlinesMust be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretionEEOC Statement:Ed Staub & Sons Petroleum, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding nondiscrimination.
