PMI is looking for an Accounts Receivable Coordinator who will be involved in all aspects of companywide receivables management, from job setup to collections. As an Accounts Receivable Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing financial, administrative, and clerical services to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations. The Accounts Receivable Coordinator must comply with established policies and procedures while providing premier services to PMI clients, subcontractors, suppliers and supporting all facilities related activities.
Responsibilities: Processes Cash Receipts, Joint Checks, Liens, and Waivers (20 days). Reconciliations and follows-up on pending Change Orders Manages Collections via calls, emails, statement issuance and overdue reminders. Requests small balance Write Offs and Bad Debt Write Offs Maintains thorough records and Assists with other accounting needs as they arise. Additional duties include ensuring facilities and administrative tasks are completed and acting as point of contact for facility related issues. Greeting people (clients, employees, subcontractors/suppliers) as they come into the office. Process daily incoming/outgoing mail and packages. Manages office supplies orders and distribution. Responsible for coordinating company related functions like employee's birthdays, potlucks and holiday celebrations. Ability to handle sensitive situations and confidential information with discretion. Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required, college level accounting classes or Accounting Degree preferred. 1 year or more of Construction Accounting experience or equivalent Strong working knowledge of general accounting principals Experience in collections preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to double check work to ensure accuracy while working in a fast paced changing environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Good mathematical background Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently Ability to listen, communicate (written and verbal), excellent grammar, spelling and proof-reading skills and follow-up effectively with all staffing levels and clients/customers Flexibility to adapt to all situations and work varied hours to meet deadlines Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook Experience with COINS preferred Job Posted by ApplicantPro
