What's a typical day as Accounts Receivable Specialist? You'll be:
• Processing cash receipts, making collection calls and/or correspondence
• Providing customer service, processing and reviewing account adjustments, and resolving discrepancies
• Monitoring and maintaining all accounts: customer calls, adjustments, and reconciliations
• Processing billing, credit card payments, and reducing delinquency for assigned accounts
• Communicating and following up effectively, timely, and recording all communications
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Associate Degree or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of Collections and Billing procedures
• Strong attention to detail, goal oriented, excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
• Committed to providing excellent customer service
• 2+ years of collections experience preferred (preferred, not required)
• Thorough understanding of accounts payable and receivable practices preferred (preferred, not required)
• Must have the ability to sit at a desk using a computer for 8 or more hours per day; stand, kneel, walk and bend as required throughout the workday to accomplish various tasks
• Be able to lift, pull, push or carry various types of light weight files (approximately 1-10 pounds) and process accordingly. MUST have B2B collections experience.
