### Job Description:

Danaher is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Associate to join our dynamic finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and reliable professional to work from home while contributing to our mission of delivering innovative solutions that help our customers succeed.

As a part of our team, you will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely invoicing and collections, maintaining accurate financial records, and fostering strong relationships with customers. You'll play a key role in supporting the financial health of the company and facilitating smooth financial operations.

### Key Responsibilities:

- **Invoice Management:**
- Prepare and send accurate invoices to customers in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and pricing agreements.
- Review and resolve discrepancies in invoicing by investigating and communicating effectively with both internal teams and clients.

- **Collections:**
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports to identify overdue accounts and develop collection strategies to secure payment promptly.
- Conduct follow-up communications with customers via email and phone to encourage payment, utilizing persuasive techniques while maintaining professionalism.

- **Customer Relationship Management:**
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster trust and loyalty, serving as a point of contact for inquiries related to invoices and payments.
- Collaborate with the sales team to address customer concerns and streamline the order-to-cash processes.

- **Account Reconciliation:**
- Regularly reconcile accounts receivable transactions to ensure accuracy and consistency with financial records.
- Assist in resolving customer disputes to ensure a smooth collection process by employing creative problem-solving techniques.

- **Reporting:**
- Generate and analyze accounts receivable reports for management reviews, identifying trends and areas for potential improvement.
- Participate in monthly and quarterly financial closing activities related to accounts receivable.

- **Process Improvement:**
- Continuously evaluate accounts receivable processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated on best practices in financial management to introduce innovative approaches to the accounts receivable function.

### Requirements:

- **Education & Experience:**
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related financial field.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is preferred.

- **Technical Skills:**
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical skills to maintain accurate financial records and reports.

- **Personality Traits:**
- Highly motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and overcoming challenges.
- Dependable and reliable; able to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

- **Soft Skills:**
- Excellent persuasion skills to influence payment decisions and enhance customer cooperation.
- Creative thinker capable of brainstorming effective solutions for disputes and process inefficiencies.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
