Overall PurposeThis position is responsible for handling accounts and other business-related activities for BK Plus clients. It also involves supporting managers and Directors in task completion, ensuring work is performed efficiently, meets high professional standards, and achieves agreed recoverability targets. The role necessitates extensive interaction and communication with clients, colleagues, and official organisations.
Brief Job DescriptionPreparing limited company accountsPreparing and submitting statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and small limited companiesEffectively liaising with clients, HMRC, and colleagues to resolve queriesPreparation of self-assessment tax returns (an advantage)Reviewing and submitting VAT returnsUnderstanding and preparation of payrollMinimum QualificationsRequirements for the roleA working knowledge of Accounting packages (Excel, Xero, Sage, QB etc)Good organisational skillsAble to mentor trainee members of staff when requiredFriendly, punctual, presentable, and politeAbility to work well under pressure within a team and individually with a positive attitudeDriving licence & access to own carDiversity & Inclusion at BK PlusAt BK Plus, inclusion and diversity are central to our values.
