ACHIEVE Program Director - GrantUniversity of South Carolina UpstateRTF00140PO24Spartanburg, SCThe ACHIEVE Program Director supervises, develops, plans, directs, implements and evaluates the operation of the ACHIEVE Program serving Spartanburg, Cherokee and Union Counties. Researches, develops, prepares and writes grant proposals for continuation of funding and for new supplemental grants. The youth program serves economically disadvantaged, at-risk, high school dropouts, ages 16-24, with educational and employability training and placement, counseling and personal development. The program includes follow-up for each participant for at least one year. Participants complete a customer satisfaction survey upon exit. Required Education and Experience
Master's degree in Student Personnel services or related field with 2 years related experience or bachelor's degree with 4 years related experience. Good driving record, valid driver's license and a successful background check are required. Preferred Qualifications
Grant experience, experience with federal regulations, writing grants, supervising, managing budgets, working with at-risk populations. Job Close Date Special Instructions to Applicant
