Our continually expanding client base gives us an opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects in various industries.  We are seeking full-time Engineering Field Technicians with ACI certification(s) to join our Blacksburg, VA team.    Responsibilities: Observing and testing soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry & asphalt according to applicable standards and regulationsPreparing accurate field reports and assisting with laboratory testingDaily interaction with team members and various project stakeholdersObtaining necessary certifications and trainingOther related tasks, as assigned by supervisorExperience, Skills & Abilities: ACI Concrete/Soils current certification Ability to work off-shift hours, including some weekendsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and proceduresAttention to detail, problem solving, reliability, and effective communicationValid driver's license with satisfactory driving history  Ability to periodically lift and carry 50 pounds of weight and stand for long periods of timeBenefits: 401(k)Paid time-offPaid holidaysMedical insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceAD&D insuranceCareer developmentCertification assistanceAt this time, Stevenson Consulting will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
