POSITION OVERVIEW
To support the Processing Division's Metallurgical Group in safely unloading acid and CSO for Ray's Leaching Operations and correctly reporting and ordering.
Upon successful completion of training, the ideal candidate will be able to operate the Station solely in a safely repeatable manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Safely unload acid as required by SX-EW Dept by following established rules and procedures.Know how to report storage tank levels, create BOL's, and maintain acid inventory.Adhere to safety protocol with respect to working with acid.Adhere to safety protocol with respect to working with railroad crews.Be able to use a computer system to track levels, loading rate, etc.Must be willing to take on duties as described by SX-EW or Met Lab Departments.Safely Unload Acid Tankers as required to maintain storage inventory.Facilitate and help acid loading by truckers.Be able to perform acid inventory.Must be willing to take on duties to help with Ray Care and Maintenance. TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED: A wide range of laboratory crushing, grinding, screening, flotation, etc., mineral processing equipment, as well as the analytical devices used to measure results.

MATERIALS USED: Water and air hoses, hand tools, rags, cleaning solvent, gasket material, rubber, iron, steel, aluminum, and water. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must be able to work alone in a precise, repeatable, safe fashion, and yet communicate excellently with operations, Supervision, Traffic, and the RailroadAbility to prepare samples and complete basic sample analysis procedures following proper guidelines.Must be able to take multiple directives and follow instructions with precision.Must have MS Office computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook)Must be able to manage time effectively and set priorities.Requires the ability to manage multiple tasks.Must have a valid driver's license.
