SUMMARY
The Accountant - Intern, as a member of the Finance Department at ACM will prepare and support monthly and annual financial close and reporting activities.
The Accountant - Intern will develop subject matter expertise in specific areas to which he/she is assigned and will be responsible for providing analysis and support for assigned financial areas
RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare monthly general and standard journal entries.
Prepare monthly account reconciliations.
Assist independent auditors with interim and year-end audit.
Maintain established department policies, procedures, objectives, and quality assurance.
Enhance professional growth and development through educational programs, seminars, workshops, conferences, etc.
to keep abreast of the field.
Maintain required records, reports, and files.
Perform other duties as directed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Student Enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration program preferred.
Must reside in Rochester, NY or commutable distance to site EDUCATION: LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
