Hours: Monday Friday, 40 hours/week


Caseload: Pre-K through 12th Grade

Sunbelt is working with a school district in Arlington, VA, to fill a school psychologist role,where you will support student mental health and academic success.




Key Responsibilities:




Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs


Provide individual and group therapy to students


Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop intervention strategies


Offer crisis intervention and support for students in distress


Participate in Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) initiatives


Advocate for students' mental health and educational needs




Qualifications:




Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field


Valid Virginia School Psychologist licensure


Strong assessment and counseling skills


Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


Commitment to fostering a positive school climate
