Responsibilities of the Recreation Director: Develop and implement engaging recreational programs and activities suitable for elderly residents. Coordinate and supervise recreational staff members to ensure activities are carried out effectively. Collaborate with other departments to integrate recreational programs into overall resident care plans. Maintain records and documentation related to recreational programs and resident participation. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. Qualifications for the Recreation Director: High School Diploma or equivalent. Certification as a Recreation Therapist (CTRS) or Certified Activities Director (ADC) strongly preferred. Previous long-term care experience is preferred.
