If so, the Steamboat Pilot and the Craig Press is looking for an Advertising Director to lead its multi-media marketing/advertising team. This is a fantastic opportunity to further your career in a world-class mountain resort community.
We are looking for the right person to: - Increase revenues for our newspapers, magazines, and digital products - Work with account managers to develop strategies to help customers grow their business, forecast sales and surpass goals - Use consultative selling to manage key accounts - Make sales calls with account managers - Attend community events - Create sales proposals and keep up-to-date special sections, marketing pieces, calendars, and media kits.
Qualifications: -Excellent skills in leadership, team building, negotiation, issue resolution, innovation, and customer service -A background with an emphasis on sales, marketing or advertising. - Proven experience as an Advertising Director or similar role -Outstanding external and internal communication skills -Strong understanding of online media and its metrics, analytics, and marketing -Self-motivated and goal oriented - History of building customer relationships and cross-selling techniques
Success will be achieved through a combination of coaching, supporting and challenging others to help them grow their territories and tell the Steamboat Pilot and Craig Press story to a wide audience of customers and prospects.

Pay: $80,000-$100,000 (salary + bonus plan) depending on experience. Competitive benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance after 60 days of employment, $500 recreation bonus after six months and 401k Plan, including a company match, after one year.
