Overview:
The LMS Support Contractor will play a key role in supporting the operational excellence of the On-Demand Learning team by managing day-to-day LMS administration tasks, optimizing processes, and enhancing the overall learning experience for Uber employees. This role is focused on enabling the team to scale its impact and support strategic initiatives such as platform optimization and LMS evaluation.
What You'll Do:Course Review and Governance:
- Review newly created courses to ensure they adhere to governance guidelines.
- Provide constructive feedback and resources to course creators to improve course quality.Community Management:
- Develop a Slackbot to monitor admin Slack channels, answer common questions, provide resources, and guide admins in submitting support tickets.Run-the-Business Tasks:
- Assist with operational tasks such as user management, reporting, and platform maintenance to ensure seamless daily operations.Knowledge Sharing and Enablement:
- Curate and share enablement materials for platform administrators, focusing on advanced functionalities and best practices.
- Contribute to knowledge repositories and help create standardized templates for course creators.What We Need:A proactive individual who can work independently to solve problems and adapt to a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational and administrative skills with a proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and ensure clear communication.A tech-savvy professional with prior back-end experience working with LMS platforms like Absorb, Degreed, or similar.Someone who thrives in finding new ways to improve and optimize processes.Experience:BA/BS degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.2–4 years of experience in Learning & Development, IT or related field.Hands-on experience coordinating multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Previous experience with LMS platforms, including course governance and user management.
