Overview:
We seek a detail-oriented and proficient ad hoc analyst/spreadsheets expert to join our team. While expertise in spreadsheet software and financial analysis is essential for this role, experience in inventory management will be considered a significant advantage. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and the ability to generate actionable insights from data.
Responsibilities:
Utilize advanced spreadsheet skills to develop, maintain, and enhance financial models, reports, and analysis tools.Conduct a thorough analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights for adhoc projects and initiatives.Assist in inventory management activities, including analyzing stock levels, forecasting demand, and optimizing inventory turnover.Support developing and maintaining inventory tracking systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency in inventory management processes.Prepare ad-hoc reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.Support special projects and initiatives as management assigns, leveraging financial and inventory expertise. Qualifications:
Proven expertise in spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets) and financial modeling.Strong understanding of financial principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.Experience in inventory management is considered a significant advantage.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and precision in all work.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
