Concordia University Chicago (CUC) invites applications for part-time adjunct faculty for the ART Department in the College of THEOLOGY, ARTS and HUMANITIES. Part-time teaching opportunities are available throughout the academic year, including summer sessions. Applicants with expertise that matches course scheduling needs will be contacted for an interview.
Current opportunities include teaching the following courses for the 2025 and 2026 academic semesters:
Online: Introduction to Art Face to Face: Studio Art, Art History and Graphic Design classes. Minimum Requirements: MA, MFA, PhD or art related degree at the graduate level. Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the college level. Online teaching experience optional but a plus. Excellent organizational skills. Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to handle all situations in a pleasant and professional manner. Candidates must support and be committed to the mission and identity of Concordia University Chicago, a university of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod (LCMS).
