Details of the offer

Our campus is a scenic 220+ acre hillside forest setting overlooking the Willamette Valley, just minutes from the heart of Salem, Oregon's capital city. The rugged coast is only an hour's drive to the west, and to the east lies the majestic Cascade Range. Portland, the state's largest city, is less than an hour away and offers cultural museums, parks, shopping, and a variety of restaurants. Adjuncts may be hired to teach on campus or remotely, depending on departmental needs.
Summary
We are currently accepting applications for potential part-time instructor (Adjunct) positions that may arise throughout the year. Please note that applying to this pool does not guarantee an open position. Adjuncts may be hired in various departments, including:
Center for Nontraditional Learning (Online)
Department of Humanities
Department of Natural Science and Mathematics
School of Business
School of Education
School of Ministry
School of Social Sciences
Essential Duties
Develop course schedules and syllabi
Identify and address the learning needs of students
Integrate biblical principles in accordance with our Statement of Faith
Create and administer assessments to monitor and evaluate student progress
Maintain regular communication with the department chair to ensure alignment with academic goals
Qualifications and Requirements
Master's degree in a related field for undergraduate teaching
Doctoral degree required for teaching graduate-level courses
A commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment that reflects the diversity of God's kingdom and engages with global concerns
A personal relationship with Jesus Christ, evidence of a mature Christian faith, and agreement with our Statement of Faith
Commitment to integrating biblical principles throughout the teaching process
Benefits
Adjunct positions are not eligible for benefits due to the nature of the role.
Working Conditions
This role typically involves working in a traditional office and classroom environment. There may be events on and off campus during non-business hours. Reasonable accommodations can be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
