Job Summary / Purpose Provides administrative and financial management of the Adams County Ambulance and the hospital's accounts payable system. Managing projects, preparing financial reports, and data entry for multiple reports. Administrative support including coordination of events and projects for the President.
Essential Key Job Responsibilities Provide overall project management for Adams County Ambulance. Adams County Ambulance administrative duties to include but not limited to payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, W2s, quarterly payroll taxes and reports, coordination of state and federal programs.  Prepare project reports, financial and statistical reports, surveys, questionnaires, graphical portrayals, power points and similar documents. Initiates and maintains standardized reports for Adams County Ambulance. Gathers data and information, and performs analysis to lead to conclusions and recommendations on assigned projects. Ensures timely follow-up on assigned projects.  Accounts Payable management including invoicing, check requests, vendor inquiries, portal management and invoice coding for hospital (any Adam County related). Coordination with Adams County Auditor to submit uncollectable accounts for Adams County Ambulance to the Iowa Setoff Program. Prepare and submit month end stats and monthly IHA DataBank reports. Prepare and submit ER Physician time studies for the Medicare cost report. Maintain the following programs - GEMT Program, GADCS Program, Medicare Revalidation, Iowa Setoff Program, National Health Service Corp (NHSC), Motor Vehicle Tax Refunds, IHA Databank. Support the President with various event coordination including monthly events, Hospital Week and quarterly recognition activities. Act as chairperson for the Employee Experience Council focused on employee engagement. Provide local orientation for new hires, keep hospital administration paperwork and personnel information up to date. Provide administrative support, research and gathers information as appropriate on special projects assigned requiring follow-through with leaders. Ensures timely follow-up on all pending items. Minimum Qualifications Required Education and Experience  Bachelor's Degree  Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality with sensitive information. Result oriented and proven track record in establishing and achieving goals. Min of one year of health care administrative, general office, or business-related experience. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in daily and long-term assignments. Self-motivated, well organize, and detail-oriented. Computer proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets & Slides.) PREFERRED Accounts Payable & payroll experience a plus.
