ABOUT THE ROLE In this role, you will provide administrative support to the Sr. Director, Sales Account Management (Large Format) and their team.
The Large Format team is responsible for managing SCJ's relationship with critical customers in the Warehouse Club & DIY Channels (Costco, Sam's Club, BJs The Home Depot, Lowes, Hardware independent retailers) with team members located in our Chicago office and across the country.
In this role you will be an integral part of our US Sales organization under SCJ's North America Consumer Brands BU.
This is a dynamic environment, and you must demonstrate high levels of discretion, communication skills, organization, initiative, autonomy, and decisiveness, while remaining flexible and engaged under pressure.
You will be a key member of the Large Format team, supporting team building, culture formation activities and partnering with the senior leaders and their teams to accomplish shared goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES: Excellent interpersonal skills and a high degree of professionalism in working with all levels of management, both within and outside the company Excellent verbal and written communication skills Exercise extreme confidentiality in handling highly sensitive topics or projects Ability to multi-task with several competing priorities Excellent organizational and planning skills; ability to handle detailed meeting schedules with internal and external parties at multiple SCJ campuses, as well as external venues Experience and ability to organize domestic and international travel, both commercial and corporate aircraft, coordinate travel visas (as needed) Highly motivated, self-starter, able to function independently by anticipating needs and resolving them without much supervision or making independent decisions when needed Sense of urgency and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Remaining flexible under pressure with frequently changing priorities and demands REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING: Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States 5+ years of progressive administrative experience PREFFERED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: Excellent interpersonal savvy skills to maintain and develop successful relationships with both internal and external clients with the ability to work with all levels of the organization Attention to detail and accuracy with excellent written and verbal communication skills Efficiently manage multiple projects and competing priorities with strong time-management skills and the ability to quickly adapt to a changing business landscape Demonstrate ability to exercise extreme confidentiality Strong decision quality when managing a Senior Leader's schedule, understanding the difference between urgent and important meetings Good problem-solving skills High school diploma or higher education Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint Experience with Teams meetings, Roundtable technology and video conferencing Experience with Concur preferred Ability and openness to learn/master standard & ad-hoc reporting, if needed JOB REQUIREMENTS: Full Time onsite in Chicago, IL This position is not eligible for remote work This role is not eligible for relocation BENEFITS AND PERKS SC Johnson's total compensation packages are at or above industry levels.
