Administrative Assistant - Customer Service And Billing

Position Overview: In the Administrative Assistant role, you will be responsible for answering customer queries, dealing with complaints, and providing potential customers with detailed information about our products.  A successful candidate in this role should have a friendly and professional demeanor, good communication skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. This role handles a range of customer inquiries, addresses service-related concerns, and documents customer requests. This role includes both inbound and outbound calls, as well as call transfers for service-related actions. Supervisory Responsibilities:None Duties/Responsibilities:Meets new business production goals and objectives as established;Maintains knowledge of all product;Ensures positive client relationships;Possesses a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable;Possesses an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude;Works well with other employees and is a team player with a positive attitude;Verifies phone numbers, addresses and email addresses and updates customer information;Answer incoming phone calls on the first ring;Return all phone messages promptly;Develops and maintains client relationships;Helps maintain online databases;Works independently on projects often;Assesses and identifies the wants and needs of customer(s) over the phone;Participates in regular team meetings and brainstorming sessions;Attends training and continuing education courses;Other duties may be assigned as need by management.Required Skills/Abilities:Excellent verbal and written communication skills;Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills;Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software;Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;Ability to work independently;Strong mathematical skills;An upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude.Coachable self-starter with a sense of urgency.Has the ability to answer questions efficiently and effectively. Education and Experience:Associates Degree or Higher Preferred;Experience with Outlook, online data platforms, Word, Powerpoint and Adobe required.Physical Demands and Work Environment:While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard;Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work;Light to moderate lifting may be required;Regular, predictable attendance is required; including quarter-driven hours as business demands dictate;Moderate noise (i.e., business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic);Ability to work in a confined area;Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period.
