ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Process correspondence for diagnosticians and speech pathologists.Prepare and distribute documents and reports to building personnel, district personnel and parents within legal timelines.Enter data for special education information (e.g., IEP, student data).Perform clerical duties including scheduling appointments (e.g.
assessment times, interview with teachers and/or parents), preparing reports, and maintaining files for the special education department and school administration.Maintain confidential files for diagnosticians and speech pathologists.Communicate with all parties regarding student transportation for special education student (e.g.
transportation department, parents, staff) to ensure proper and timely routing of new students receiving special education transportation and communicate any changes or concerns.Assist the campus administrative assistant in performing all office procedures.Perform other duties as assigned by the principal.Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.
