GENERAL PURPOSE
The Administrative Assistant for the SBL/SDL programs will provide general administrative support and assist the program coordinator in processing applications, registering, and advising students, and interfacing with the admissions, registrar, KTA and graduate education department personnel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Act as liaison with registrar, IT, and bursar's office to assist students when they encounter obstacles on-boarding (setting up their Molloy email address, paying their deposit, registering, accessing Canvas), and communicate with KTA staff.
* Email prospective students' invitations to upcoming Orientation sessions as well as Registration and Post-Registration documents and answer student emails regarding the program.
* Update and maintain SBL/SDL prospective student materials to reflect current processes.
* Access applications from Slate and review transcripts to see the program's eligibility.
* Check applicants for graduation and ensure they have completed hours for internship, taken DASA, etc.
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* High school diploma or GED
* 1 to 3 years of prior office experience
* Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
* Knowledge of NYSED certifications requirements for School Building Leaders and School District Leaders
PREFERRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* Educational Administration Certification

The hiring hourly pay rate for this position is $20.00.
