Administrative Assistant Summary

To provide administrative and secretarial supportfor various departments and personnel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Filing, scheduling meetings, conference calls, obtain departmental supplies as required.Maintain departmental calendar, appointments, screening of phone calls and distribution of mail.Performs desktop publishing; creates and develops word documents, correspondence, presentations, spreadsheets, special projects.Schedules and organizes activities such as meetings, travel, conferences and department activities for all members of the department.Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent fromtwo-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year relatedexperience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education andexperience.

Language Skills

Proficiency reading, writing, and speaking English to satisfactorily perform the duties of the position.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

Computer Skills

Knowledge of MS Office Suite or similar softwarerequired.
Specifically, Word, Excel, andPowerPoint.
