The opportunityThe Administrative Assistant performs a variety of administrative and secretarial duties as well as a variety of tasks that require planning and organization to meet daily responsibilities and deadlines.
Location: This position will be based in Parsippany, NJ
How you'll spend your dayProvides administrative support to the Vice President of Revenue Optimization and Contract Compliance, and the Vice President of Tax – North AmericaPrepares written documents, spreadsheets and presentations.Manage certified mail; send rebates checks and other mailings as neededEfficiently schedules department meetings, events and internal conferences.Serves as an important interface with outside partiesSupports department expense management: monitors expenditures and prepares expense reports as neededMakes travel arrangements, both domestic and international, and manages calendarsProcess payment of invoices, as neededCompletes other projects and duties as assigned or as business needs requireFacilitates communications by answering phones, posting overnight packagesOrganizes workload to comply with deadlines and priorities. Works independently to complete routine department functionsYour experience and qualificationsHigh School Diploma/GED required, Associate's degree is preferredMust have knowledge of secretarial, office administrative procedures, and proficiency in operating standard office equipmentExperience in an administrative assistant or related role required, preferably at least 3 yearsAt least 3 years' experience in a pharmaceutical environment preferredProficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and OutlookMust be able to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality, integrity and discretionMust be detail oriented with high level of interpersonal skills to ensure effective, and accurate flow of all informationExcellent organizational and follow-up skills requiredStrong written and verbal communications skills with excellent typing skillsExperience with meeting coordination and planning preferredAble to work independently and provide services to multiple staff membersMust work effectively with all levels of the organization - domestic and internationalWillingness and ability to work overtime when neededEnjoy a more rewarding choiceWe offer a competitive benefits package, including:
