Hersman Serles Almond has specialized in providing tax, accounting, and consulting services to leading Northwest organizations and families for over 30 years.
After merging with Coldstream, an employee-owned, independently operated wealth management firm, we have grown and are looking for an Administrative Assistant.
This position reports to the Office Manager on-site in our Kirkland office.
This position is a full-time role (40 hours) with flexible work hours between 7:00am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities include: Work with clients during tax season to facilitate paperwork completion and obtain payment Schedule meetings and respond to email inquiriesMail and email clients Review reports and other materials for accuracy and qualityScan internal and client paperwork and file it digitallyEnter data and assist with CRM maintenanceAssist with monthly accounts receivableProvide backup for incoming phone calls and greeting guests Experience and Skills We are looking for a candidate who has: 1-2 years of administrative support experience and excellent client service skillsA high school diploma or equivalentTech savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook/calendaring, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe PDF; desire to learn new software applicationsAbility to complete tasks in a timely manner while maintaining accuracyInterest in learning basic accounting Job Benefits

In terms of pay expectations, we assess each candidate individually based on their experience and qualifications and offer competitive compensation that reflects the value they bring to the team.
Base pay typically starts between $23 and $25 per hour, plus overtime, an annual bonus, and a generous benefits package, but it can be higher for candidates with additional experience.
