The Behavioral Sciences Department is seeking an Administrative Assistant.
The Administrative Assistant will serve as the first point of contact in the department office for students, faculty, staff and external vendors.
Behavioral Sciences is a multidisciplinary program that includes studies in Sociology, Criminal Justice, Human Development and Family Studies, and Social Work.

Education of Administrative Assistant Requires a high school diploma/GED Experience of Administrative Assistant Minimum two years' experience providing administrative support Experience in higher learning environment preferred Core Competencies of Administrative Assistant Must have working knowledge of standard office procedures to provide support for the Associate Dean and BHS Department Chair, faculty, students and external partners Must have demonstrated proficiency with web-based applications Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel and Teams are required Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong organizational and coordinating skills Must have strong multi-tasking skills, the ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner while giving attention to detail FLSA Status
