The Administrative Assistant I is responsible for providing phone and general administrative support, including filing and documentation, for local office.
Duties will include a variety of administrative tasks, requiring excellent organization, time management and communication skills.
The position will also include other support functions as assigned.
Requirements
Assist project manager(s) with a variety of administrative tasks as assigned.Receive all incoming calls in a professional manner, directing calls and messages as needed.Assist with coordination of meetings and communications.Create and maintain accurate, up-to-date files (paper and electronic).May be required to attend project meetings and prepare clear, accurate meeting minutes.Effectively communicate verbally and via email with project manager, engineers, employees, clients, etc.Maintain field office equipment, supplies, and janitorial services as needed.Act as liaison between field office, Headquarters, and other satellite offices.Adhere to job-specific requirements of RockSol's quality standards and Quality Management System (QMS).Other general administrative technical duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required.1-2 years of administrative work experience.Intermediate to advanced computer literacy with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, Office 365, OneNote).Positive, effective oral and written communication skills with strong customer service orientation.High attention to detail, ability to produce accurate, well-formatted documents.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Self-starter with a "can-do" attitude.
Willingness to roll up your sleeves and assist with a variety of tasks, small or large.Must maintain confidentiality and exercise professional discretion and integrity.Valid driver's license with insurable driving record.Flexibility and willingness to perform a variety of tasks to support field office.Ability to multitask while under time pressure.Demonstrated ability to learn/use various software programs (preferred). Work Environment:
Field or satellite office environment, frequent use of phones, sitting and typing at a computer workstation for extended periods.
Moderate noise level.
Occasionally move/lift up to 25 pounds.

Pay Range: $25 - $35 per hour (depending on experience)
