About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in the chemical manufacturing industry.
As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
The successful candidate will be able to work independently with little or no supervision and will be able to handle a wide range of administrative tasks.


The hours of this position are 6:00a.m.
- 2:30p.m.
M-F, shared weekends on-call.


Minimum Qualifications:
Min of 6 plus years as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant in a manufacturing industry setting
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:
Associate or bachelor's degree in business administration or related field
Experience with records management

Responsibilities:
Maintain calendars and schedule appointments
Handle general clerical duties including photocopying, faxing, and mailing
Coordinate travel arrangements
Answer and direct phone calls on a multi-line phone system
Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
Other duties and special projects as needed

Skills:
As an Administrative Assistant, you will be using your skills in general administrative tasks, calendar management, multi-line phone systems, and records management on a daily basis.
You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with executives and other team members.
Additionally, proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, will be essential for this role.
