Orion Concrete has an immediate opening for an Administrative Assistant, in Tampa, FL.
This position is accountable for administrative, clerical and project support for Orion Concrete.
The incumbent will work closely with the Project Manager, Area Manager, Project Engineers at the site.
Specific Responsibilities: Reports to and works closely with the Project Manager to provide administrative and project support in a variety of areas including preparation of reports, submitting payroll, submitting invoices and arrangement of meetings, or conference calls.
Maintains strict confidentiality on sensitive business matters with which the Project Manager and other management personnel may be involved.
Participates in Project Manager meetings and updates information to provide most current status reports.
Updates the weekly project reports as well as the weekly equipment rental report.
Maintains files containing all Letters of received from clients, customers and owners citing the quality of work and services performed.
Assists and supports in the development of bid proposals or formal reports for potential customers.
Transmits information to vendors, suppliers, customers, clients, and other Orion sites as may be required.
Provides backup to other office and clerical positions as may be required when these positions are vacant.
Participates in Safety and Environmental initiatives that will contribute to compliance of State/Federal regulations and improve existing Company programs.
Responsible and accountable for incumbent's own personal safety.

Performs other related administrative and technical duties as may be assigned or requested by immediate supervision (such as certification training, safety training, procedure review, etc.)
Position Requirements:
A minimum of two (2) years' experience performing Office Administration functions.
The incumbent must have computer proficiency with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and be able to word process at least 30 WPM.
The position also requires good interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively relate to employees at all levels of the organization.
In addition, the incumbent must be well organized and be a self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be flexible with the ability to adjust to sudden changes in work priorities.
Must also have the ability to prioritize work to accommodate those changes.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
The incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable workplace accommodation.
Incumbents must be able to sit for long periods of time, stand, walk, and lift.
Additionally, incumbents must respond appropriately during site emergencies as directed by the Safety Director or other management personnel.
The individual must also be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment if required to work or visit the jobsite.
This may include hard hat, safety glasses, respirators, ear plugs, steel-toed shoes, personal flotation devices, or other equipment as required by the work performed and location the work is being done.
