Our client in Washington DC is immediately hiring for an Administrative Assistant to join their team.
This is a full time position that will pay based on years of experience.
Qualified candidates will have an interview scheduled within 48 hours of resume submission.
Job Requirements
+ 1-3 years work experience as a administrative assistant.
+ Ability to draft letters and other correspondence as required and responsible for providing prompt follow-up.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills including precise proofreading.
+ Scheduling meetings and providing meeting support (creating agendas/taking notes/etc).
+ Experience assisting with grants coordination/ funding tracking HIGHLY preferred.
Job Description
+ Create meeting agendas and take detailed meeting minutes as needed.
+ Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, and emails as needed.
+ Assist in the preparation of financial, performance management, and other types of operational presentations/reports, including research as needed.
+ Coordinate office procedures with the state director and other members of the team.
+ Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
+ Develop and update administrative systems to make them more efficient.
+ Proactively resolve administrative issues.
+ Provide general organizational support to the state director and team as needed, which may include, making copies, answering phones, filing local and state permits for non-profit solicitations, engaging with local charitable and workplace giving campaigns, and managing local subscriptions and memberships
