About the Role:

As an Administrative Assistant at Rapid7, you will play a crucial role in supporting our operations and ensuring that our teams can function smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will vary based on the specific needs of the department you support, but generally, you can expect to engage in the following tasks:


Key Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to various teams, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements. Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating professionalism and effective communication skills. Manage office supplies and inventory, ensuring that all necessary materials are available for team members. Support project management efforts by tracking deadlines, deliverables, and progress updates. Facilitate onboarding processes for new employees, including preparing necessary documentation and coordinating training sessions. Contribute to the development and implementation of office procedures and policies to enhance operational efficiency. Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement and propose solutions that drive innovation. Assist with event planning and coordination, including team meetings, workshops, and company-wide gatherings. Qualifications:

We welcome candidates from entry-level to senior-level experience. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:


A high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business administration or a related field is a plus. Proven experience in an administrative role, with a strong understanding of office management principles and practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with project management tools. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences. A confident and driven personality, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
