About the Role:

As an Administrative Assistant at Holston Electric Cooperative, you will play a vital role in supporting our operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of our daily activities. This position is ideal for individuals at various experience levels, from entry-level to senior-level professionals. Your contributions will help us maintain our commitment to excellence and service in the electric cooperative industry.


Key Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to various departments, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing travel arrangements. Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and correspondence to ensure effective communication within the organization. Maintain and organize files, both physical and digital, to ensure easy access to important documents and information. Handle incoming calls and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate personnel while providing exceptional customer service. Collaborate with team members on special projects and initiatives, contributing your insights and expertise to enhance overall efficiency. Monitor and order office supplies, ensuring that all necessary materials are available for daily operations. Support the onboarding process for new employees, including preparing orientation materials and facilitating introductions to team members. Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions, bringing a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset to the table. Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions, maintaining the trust and respect of colleagues and clients alike. Key Requirements: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education or certifications in administration or related fields is a plus. Proven experience in an administrative role is preferred, but we welcome applications from candidates at all experience levels. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a keen attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with office equipment. A driven and energetic personality, with a passion for supporting teams and contributing to organizational success. Demonstrated emotional intelligence and the ability to navigate interpersonal relationships judiciously and empathetically.
