Administrative Associate 2 (Job Code 8208A2) at the Human Rights Program at the University of Minnesota, Twin CitiesAssistant Director (Program Coordinator)Temporary position for one year, with possibility for extension

Responsibilities
• Support strategic planning and program management• Cultivate relationships with human rights faculty and programs at UMN• Identify funding opportunities and assist in grant preparation• Administer program fellowship and scholarship processes• Recruit, hire, train, and manage student workers and interns• Administer research projects and maintain alumni and stakeholder database• Represent HRP to other administrators and outside organizations• Manage fiscal activities and budgets• Develop and coordinate communication strategies• Serve as Graduate Program Coordinator and assist with curricular support
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in a field related to human rights• 2 years of professional experience or 6 years of related education and work experience• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Applications• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion• Preferred: Graduate degree in social sciences or humanities• Preferred: Experience managing multiple projects and complex administrative functions• Preferred: Experience engaging with community partners or members• Preferred: Experience with data comparison and reconciliation
