Job Description
Reporting to the Executive Assistant in the Office of the Provost, the Administrative Coordinator II provides high-level administrative support for Academic Affairs, Academic Administration and Operations, and Faculty Affairs.
This position may pay more than the salary listed above depending on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.
Responsibilities: Office of Academic Affairs Provide administrative support for the university curriculum governance process, including the coordination and dissemination of curriculum proposals to university council chairs and updating forms and documents.
Maintain specialized program accreditation documents.
Assist Associate Vice Provost with Academic Program Review including organizing APR materials, preparing documents and itineraries, and managing communications.
Maintain university SharePoint sites for curriculum management and program review.
Respond to general student inquiries.
Provide support for special projects and initiatives for the office.
Office of Academic Administration and Compliance Assist in the documentation and tracking of academic integrity cases, including maintaining records and updating databases.
Handle routine administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and managing correspondence.
Help prepare reports on academic integrity cases and/or policy adherence.
Assist in organizing workshops, training sessions, and other academic integrity and/or policy awareness events.
Ensure that educational resources related to academic integrity are up-to-date and accessible.
Provide support for special projects and initiatives for the office.
Office of Faculty Affairs Support the planning and execution of faculty events, workshops, meetings, and training sessions.
Daily Operations Support daily operations of the front desk, as required.
Coordinate purchasing and travel; prepare travel requests and expense reports.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Three years of related experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications.
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Interpersonal and communication skills.
Planning and organization skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and database applications.
Knowledge of Banner student information systems and other Banner advising applications.
Direct experience working with sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality.
Familiarity with Qualtrics and Concur.
Knowledge of student information systems, degree planning, and degree audits.
Capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-paced environment.
Adept at working in collaborative, team-oriented settings.
Ability to present information clearly and concisely.
Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
Excellent written and oral communication, and analytical skills.
Other Requirements: May be required to work evenings and weekends on occasion.
Special Requirements: Applicants with equivalent experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree may be considered.
One year of the related experience is the equivalent of one college year.
Applicants being considered for the equivalency must have four years of related experience to meet the equivalency in lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus the minimum required years of experience.
Applicants being considered for the equivalency must have a total of seven years of experience.
