This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. The Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for managing various administrative tasks, supporting team members, and facilitating communication both internally and externally.Essential Functions:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office including developing and maintaining office forms, scheduling meetings, preparing outgoing mail, sorting, scanning and distributing incoming mail or other materials, and maintaining the office supply inventory.Coordinate with vendors to maintain a safe and functional work environment requesting repairs as necessary.Act as a point of contact between employees, clients, and external partners. Facilitate communication by answering phone calls, responding to emails, relaying messages accurately and promptly as well as greeting and assisting visitors.Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies. This includes managing office supplies, and assisting with event planning and preparation.Identify and resolve administrative issues in a timely manner. Proactively seek solutions to challenges and escalate issues as necessary.Promote team work by maintaining a positive and respectful attitude with colleagues.Assist in achieving department and company goals by performing assigned job functions in an accurate and timely manner.Maintain confidentiality of all information related to clients, customers, employees, carriers, or as appropriate, other information.Consistently report to work on time prepared to perform job functions.Strives to increase knowledge and/or enhance skills through continuing education.CompetenciesStrong customer service skills.Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.Strong organizational and time management skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proactive problem solving skills.Supervisory ResponsibilityThis position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and other devices.Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 8:15am to 4:45pm.TravelNo travel is expected for this position.Required Education and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED.6 months to 1 year of work experience in an office environment.State of Georgia Insurance License.Preferred Education and ExperienceAssociates or Bachelors degree from college or technical school.Prior experience in an insurance agency.
