Administrative Coordinator (Regular Part-Time)

The City of Cody is seeking to fill a regular part-time Administrative Coordinator position in the Community Development Department.
This position is responsible for coordinating the administrative functions of the Community Development Department (Community Development Director/City Planner, Building/Inspection Divisions).
Some of the major duties include: receiving building permit applications; processing and issuing permits; collecting payments; preparing agenda packets and minutes for Contractors Board Meetings and Planning and Zoning Board Meetings; assisting customers on utility locations using ArcGIS or site and subdivision maps; creating physical and electronic file folders for all applications; maintaining Department files and records; and processing new contractor license and short-term rental applications.
This position requires graduation from high school or a GED with course background in general office practices and procedures, plus one (1) year of specialized training through technical or business college and two (2) years of responsible experience related to above duties (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).

This position will work an average of 28 hours per week, Monday through Thursday.
The starting wage for this position is $23.58/hr.
and includes the City's partial benefit package.
