DESCRIPTION OF WORK As an Administrative Officer 1, you will be responsible for institution compliance with departmental and federal Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) standards.
You will track, maintain, and complete documentation; prepare weekly, monthly, and annual reports; and perform mock and actual PREA audits.
You will coordinate service provider access to inmates, record contact with victim advocates, and track sexual harassment allegations.
This independent work requires a high degree of confidentiality to maintain policies, procedures, and files pertaining to pre-disciplinary conferences and personnel issues.
In addition, you will maintain a workable appointment calendar for the superintendent, receive visitors and inquiries, and employ conscientious discretion and judgement in all matters.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $50,836 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and bachelor's degree; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements: Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
You must be able to perform essential job functions.
L egal Requirements: You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
