WinnsCompanies is looking for an IT Operations Administrator to join our Boston Corporate Office. This role is fully on-site Monday - Friday.
In this role, you will perform a broad range of basic administrative and business support tasks including asset, accounting, document, and license management. An IT Operations Administrator's duties involve coordinating the services and duties of various other personnel within the organization. This role will assist in meeting scheduling, placing orders, coordinating deliveries, processing invoices, and assist in location-specific inventory tracking. The IT Operations Administrator also coordinates with other departments to support the operational needs and tasks of the Business Systems & Technology (BS&T) department. Additionally, this role assists in communications within the department as well as with other areas within the company.
\n ResponsibilitiesAssist the IT Support Services department in tasks associated with asset, warranty, license, distribution list, end user change, service catalog, and corporate phone management as well as on-site assistance.Assist department leadership with administrative tasks associated with strategic planning, budget, PDP, procurement, invoice management, and standard operating procedure maintenance.Assist BS&T with coordination of initiatives, training, communication, etc. between internal and external departments.Communicate department initiatives to the business by maintaining a technology newsletter, updating the department page, and using internal communications programs.Other tasks as deemed necessary to support the BS&T department's objectives. RequirementsHigh School diploma or GED. 1 year of relevant work experience in a support position preferrably within an IT department.Advanced skills with computer systems, particularly Microsoft Office Suites.Ability to produce complex documents, perform analysis and maintain databases.Ability to summarize and communicate moderately complex information in varied written formats.Basic knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.Excellent customer service skills. Ability to exercise good judgment and apply initiative.Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment.
