Admissions and Events Manager University of California Los Angeles Budgeted Pay Scale: The budgeted salary for this position is between the posted minimum and $65,000/yr. Full Salary Range: USD $18.06/Hr. - USD $35.78/Hr. Position Summary Under the direction of the Director of MBA Admissions Administration, provide assistance to prospective students and the general public seeking admission to and information about the MBA program, and handle over 3000 in person, telephone and electronic inquiries monthly. Serve as one of two key persons in charge of screening all visitors to the MBA Admissions office, coordinating and scheduling applicant campus events, including campus tours and group information sessions. Perform clerical functions including copying, responding to correspondence, faxing, scanning, writing, proofreading and editing materials as directed. Maintain database with information on all prospective students, applicants, and admits, resource referrals, facilitate recruiting and yield event arrangements, and act as the central information source for all parties involved. Work is assigned and reviewed by the Director of MBA Admissions Administration. Standard office procedures established by the Assistant Dean and Director of MBA Admissions and Financial Aid (or Interim) are followed. The incumbent in consultation with the Associate Director determines priorities. Salary & Compensation *UCLA provides a full pay range. Detailed knowledge of standard office procedures. (Required) 8. Ability to read quickly and accurately and to condense and analyze what one has read easily in written report form. (Required) 9. Verbal communication skills to obtain and convey information with accuracy, diplomacy, sensitivity and warmth. (Required) 10. Prior skills in managing logistics of events and shipping. (Preferred) 11. Working knowledge of graduate management programs at UCLA. and the MBA Program, in particular.
