Admissions Nursing Professional

Bethesda Health is a leader in healthcare, and we're seeking a skilled Admissions Nursing Professional to join our team.
As a key member of our admissions team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.
Your primary responsibility will be to complete the admission process, which includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
You'll welcome patients, assist with the move-in process, and deliver welcome packets, answering questions and initiating the C.A.R.E.S.
process.
Key responsibilities include:
Completing initial patient assessments and developing individualized care plans
Coordinating communication with family members, nursing home staff, social workers, and other team members
Ensuring all necessary treatments and orders are in place
Initiating preventative measures, such as skin care and fall prevention
Verifying physician orders and entering patient information into the EMR system

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess excellent communication and documentation skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
A graduate degree in nursing is preferred, and you should have a minimum of two years of varied work experience as a professional nurse, preferably in a post-acute setting.
