Adult Medicine Staff Physician We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Staff Physician to join our Adult Medicine clinic in Hartford, Connecticut. This pivotal role involves offering comprehensive primary health care, focused on both health promotion and disease prevention. As a vital member of our care team, the successful candidate will provide specialized care, manage patient relationships, and contribute to a collaborative, culturally competent care environment tailored to a diverse patient base with complex needs.
Salary: $164,800.00 - $245,100.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.Participate in health promotion and preventative care initiatives within the clinic.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective patient management across various health aspects.Engage in continuous education and training to stay abreast of the latest medical protocols and practices.Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in accordance with clinic requirements.Make evidence-based decisions that align with departmental and organizational standards.Use electronic health record systems efficiently to manage patient data and care activities.Contribute to a high-quality care environment that respects the diverse needs of patients.Minimum Position Qualifications: Graduated from an accredited school of medicine.Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Infectious Diseases.Valid State of Connecticut medical licensure.Eligible for DEA and state narcotic registration.Demonstrated success in effectively communicating with patients, peers, and other stakeholders in both oral and written formats.Proven ability to maintain comprehensive, timely, and precise clinical documentation.Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years' experience working in an ambulatory care setting or providing urgent care.Bilingual abilities in Spanish and English.Experience delivering culturally competent care to a diverse patient population.A proactive, problem-solving attitude with high levels of accountability and resourcefulness.Skills: Strong clinical skills with an ability to perform under pressure.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficient in the use of electronic health record systems.Ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.Commitment to ethical medical practices and continual personal and professional development.Benefits: 401(k) plan with up to 4% employer match.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.Generous paid time off and 9 paid holidays.Employer-paid life, short-term, and long-term disability insurance.Opportunities for professional development and tuition reimbursement.
