As we continue to expand our Behavioral Health services, we have a full-time opening for a skilled board-certified/board-eligible Adult Psychiatrist to treat patients in our Behavioral Health Department both virtually and in-person. You will work collaboratively with our primary care and specialty providers, cognitive behavioral therapists and embedded primary care clinicians utilizing a hybrid work schedule from both home and in-office. Manage a wide variety of mild to moderate psychiatric conditions as well as provide psychiatric consultations. Help the psychiatry program grow and progress as it enters into the realm of value-based care.
Responsibilities will include:
Providing direct patient care, including psychiatric assessment and medication management to patients in the Behavioral Health DepartmentPsychiatric consultations to primary care providersEducating physicians and nursing staff on psychiatric disorders and medication management within the primary care settingDeveloping psychiatry services and programs to meet the needs of Summit Health's patients and providersSuccessful candidates must be a NJ licensed Psychiatrist.
