Job Title: Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager to join our team and drive our engineering operations to new heights.
Job Summary:The Engineering Manager will oversee all engineering activities within the manufacturing plant, ensuring the efficient and effective production of widgets. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes. Will also be responsible for all sustaining engineering activities including VAVE, BOM updates, design for manufacturing, and new program launches.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the engineering team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
Develop and implement engineering strategies to improve production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate with other departments, including production, quality assurance, and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations.
Oversee the design, installation, and some maintenance of manufacturing equipment and systems.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Manage the engineering budget and allocate resources effectively.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of innovation and FBS.
Analyze production data and implement solutions to address any issues or inefficiencies.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to keep the plant competitive.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Proven ability to develop and implement engineering strategies.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
Experience with budget management and resource allocation
