**Description** ** _Summary:_**CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join a busy OBGYNpractice in Beaumont with a team of physicians and midwifes. CHRISTUSSoutheast Texas--St. Elizabeth is a full-service, acute-care, 431-bed regionalreferral center, and is recognized both locally and nationally as thehealthcare leader in Southeast Texas.** _Requirements:_** * Current certification to practice as an Advance Practice Nurse in the State of Texas * Current Texas midwife certification * One year full-time post licensure clinical nursing experience * EducationSkills Graduate of a State Board andor NLN accredited School of Nursing. Graduate of a State Board and NLN Accredited Advance Nurse Practitioner program. * Master's Degree required. * Effective verbal and written communication skills to communicate with diverse populations including physicians, employees, patients and families. Leadership skills to direct others toward the successful treatment of patients. * Analytical skills to evaluate patient status and healthcare procedurestechniques and to monitor quality of care.
