Job Description Apollo After School offers after-school care and enrichment clubs at local schools. We seek outgoing, personable, and reliable art teachers for our school-based programs in the area. If you don't have a degree in fine arts or in education, no problem! As an Apollo Art Instructor, your responsibilities will be: You will have the opportunity to positively impact children through different art techniques. Planning and implementing engaging art lessons for children aged 5-12, with a focus on beginner level. In charge of providing instructions on how to draw, paint, and color using different creative methods. Creating a positive and inclusive class environment allowing kids to feel valuable and supported. Monitor and ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during dance classes. The requirements for our Art Instructor are: Must enjoy Art and have a strong desire to inspire kids through different art techniques. Knowledge of different techniques and different kinds of art techniques, etc.Experience teaching art to kids is very desired. Ability to create fun, engaging, and age-appropriate lesson plans. Excellent communication skills. Energetic, patient, and knowledgeable on how to share positive feedback. Great ability to motivate and encourage kids.
