About the Role:
As an Aftercare Counselor at Evergreen Academy, you will play a pivotal role in our daily school life. Your responsibilities include supervising our elementary students during various activities such as indoor and outdoor play, arts and crafts, and snack times, fostering a safe and educational environment. This role is crucial for maintaining our standard of care and education outside regular school hours, helping students to build relationships, and becoming a key member of our educational community.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise students during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
Assist students with homework and educational activities, providing guidance and supervision.
Plan and execute engaging after-school activities, including arts and crafts, games, and outdoor play.
Collaborate with the school team to enhance the student experience and foster a positive learning environment.

What We're Looking For:
A minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
Previous experience working with children is preferred.
The ability to pass state and federal background checks.
A positive, energetic, and patient demeanor, with strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
