The salary for this position is $60,000 annually plus unlimited bonus opportunity. Position Summary: The Agency Producer – Commercial Lines plays a critical role in the organization by connecting with clients, providing empathetic and effective communication, and ensuring the best insurance solutions to meet their needs. This role is essential for driving the company's success through sales and customer retention, reflecting the organization's core values.
Essential Functions: Prospecting (60%) Utilize in-house leads, cold calling, and networking to generate new business.Engage with prospects through LinkedIn and become a trusted advisor by providing tailored insurance solutions.Complete applications, supplemental questionnaires, risk surveys, and other related documentation accurately.Address phone, email, or site visit questions and concerns promptly.Track, monitor, and report on weekly/monthly prospecting activity and sales results to the supervisor.Request referrals from new customers and associates, responding to them in a timely manner.Measured By: 20 applications quoted and submitted per month, 10 new policies issued and paid monthly, attending 2 networking events per week, cold calling 5-10 hours weekly, same-day response to client emails/calls, consistent follow-up on prospects, weekly prospecting reports to supervisor.Proposal Process and Presentation (25%) Follow agency standard procedures for all proposals.Provide complete and comprehensive submissions to underwriters and respond promptly to requests for additional information.Accurately document coverage discussions and submit new business paperwork to Operations as instructed.Demonstrate the ability to close sales.Measured By: Closing ratio of 50% or higher, NPS score for new clients, follow-up with referral calls/emails for positive business.Customer Retention (10%) Build rapport and positive relationships with clients throughout the policy term.Handle escalated client issues and conduct regular check-ins, asking for referrals.Measured By: NPS feedback, 90% client retention within producer control, documented quarterly check-ins with all clients.General Duties (5%) Maintain knowledge of procedures, coverage, and the industry to manage, maintain, and develop client relationships effectively.Attend daily, weekly, and monthly staff meetings.Submit coversheet with checklist and signed documentation promptly to the Operations Assistant.Maintain accurate and up-to-date opportunities in CRM with all communications.Complete other duties as assigned.Measured By: Documented quarterly check-ins with all clients, updated CRM with all touchpoints and notes, maintaining CE credits for active license.Job Specifications/Qualifications: Education and Training: Bachelor's Degree (preferred)Texas Property and Casualty License (required)Experience: 2 or more years of Commercial Lines Insurance Sales experienceSkills & Abilities: Experienced and knowledgeable in all business insurance productsStrong sales acumen, including cold callingHigh emotional intelligence and ability to build rapport quickly and establish trustDecisive and confidentStrong business acumenAbility to multi-task and prioritizeExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and writtenExcellent follow-up and follow-through skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve results and resolve customer needsWhat We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits package.Professional growth and development opportunities.A supportive and collaborative work environment.Access to company assets, including credit cards, cell phones, building keys, and laptop computers.
