The Ethical AI team's mission is to identify, measure, understand and help alleviate any disparate impact caused by our AI models.

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to innovate for our customers and business, evolving key systems like content creation, search and ranking.
We seek dedicated students interested in pushing the state-of-the-art in high-impact research areas such as NLP, LLMs, Conversational AI, Fair Housing Alignment and Ranking.
Our team has an open attitude towards research, and we encourage publications and continuing collaborations.
Previous interns have successfully submitted and published their work at prestigious conferences through their research and team efforts.

Who you are Is a currently enrolled PhD graduate student working towards a degree in computer science, NLP, machine learning, fairness, or another applicable field.
Has good publication record or is highly motivated towards publishing at top-tier scientific conferences (such as ACL, NAACL, EMNLP, NeurIPS, COLING, ICML, FAccT) Strong understanding of ML and NLP fundamentals Experience with common deep learning frameworks Experience in curating large scale datasets Experience with training/fine-tuning BERT, BART, T5, GPT, other LLMs for NLP tasks Experience with LLMs including new modeling techniques, prompt engineering, retrieval augmented generation Experience with fairness and building trustworthy embeddings, models are a plus Get to know us
