Position Summary: As an AI Data Scientist, you will work with a cross-functional team to design and implement machine learning and AI solutions that drive automation, optimization, and decision-making. You will build and enhance models using advanced algorithms, leverage large datasets, and improve operational workflows across the organization. Your role will focus on researching and developing AI systems that have a real impact on business processes and deliver results.
Essential Duties: Lead the discovery and design of new AI-driven models to enhance business workflows and decision-making.Implement machine learning and AI algorithms to automate and optimize business operations.Continuously maintain and improve AI models, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and deliver high accuracy.Develop and integrate AI-driven tools that can automate and enhance the data science processes.Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data science solutions.Provide guidance on best practices and new techniques in AI, machine learning, and data analysis.Lead the research and design of long-term strategies for AI tool development, with an emphasis on scalability and efficiency.Ensure the adoption of continuous integration/continuous delivery practices in AI model development.Communicate findings and insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field (Ph.D. preferred).5+ years of hands-on experience in AI, machine learning, or data science.Intermediate to advanced experience with Python for developing machine learning models (1+ year).Advanced knowledge of data analysis and statistical methods for building predictive models.Strong understanding of APIs and how to integrate AI models into operational systems.Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery practices.Solid experience in building and managing large datasets, preferably using big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).Proven ability to communicate complex AI concepts and results effectively to diverse audiences.Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.Experience with natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, or reinforcement learning.Familiarity with the solar industry or renewable energy sectors is a plus.A portfolio of published research papers, open-source contributions, or advanced AI projects.
