Job Overview Involved in the development of artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms and devices. Designing and developing machine learning (ML) and deep learning systems. Running machine learning tests and experiments implementing appropriate machine learning algorithms. This position is contingent upon contract award. Work Model: Onsite/Office-Based
Responsibilities Essential Duties & Job Functions:Provide support to successfully execute artificial intelligence and machine learning efforts for NAVWAR. Includes lifecycle support of these solutions from concept, design, development, maintenance, and sunsetting as necessary.Examples of deliverables include the following:Automated Product/Application Build PlansProduct RoadmapProduct BacklogAutomated Product/Application Design DescriptionAutomated Product/Application Technical ManualAutomated Product/Application User ManualCoordinate with Chugach IT Services PM & Project Leads, Project Leads, and Commands to achieve the goal of the project.Attend meetings as required.Consulting with the customer and working group to resolve any complex problems.Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Mandatory:Bachelor's degree in computer science, math, or related field and five (5) years of professional experience within this industry OrSubstitution of a bachelor's degree in business or information technology or IT related field and six (6) years of additional relevant work experience.Substitution of an associate degree plus four (4) years of additional relevant working experience.Experience designing, developing, and modifying AI applications, tools and/or solutions to enable successful accomplishment of mission objectives.Experience writing, documenting, and updating secure and reproducible code using R, Python, PIG, HIVE, SQL, etc.Experience correcting errors by making appropriate changes and rechecking the program to ensure the desired results are produced.Experience determining methods and metrics for quantitative and qualitative measurement of AI risks, so that sensitivity, specificity, likelihood, confidence levels and other metrics are identified, documented, and applied.Experience conducting AI risk assessments to ensure models and/or other solutions are performing as designed.Current knowledge of advancements in DoD AI Ethical Principles and Responsible AI.Experience designing, developing, and modifying software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.Experience conducting hypothesis testing using statistical processes.Requires Information Assurance Technical (IAT) or Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level II certification as outlined by DOD 8570.Able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug and background check.Current active SECRET clearance and/or base access to a government facility is required.Reasonable Accommodation:CGS will provide reasonable accommodations, according to applicable state and federal laws, to all qualified individuals with physical or mental disabilities.
